Thank you so much!  At last I was able to find it~

Oh and made a little fan trailer tonight to show my appreciation:

Thanks for the quick response Eldwood, I've been playing the game a whole bunch on steam since then!  I have one other question if you will allow it... Is there any hint you might give regarding legitimately reaching the 'you will die'  boss area?  Should I re-read books for clues?  I've tried falling down all sorts of paths, killing the red eyed ghosts, running the fire area in a loop, playing at midnight, etc, I'm at a loss... (I even gave up and used the level select to find the entrance in reverse, but still can't find a way to open it up properly... hmmm)

Anyway, probably will take a break after this playthrough,  think I'm on track for the best ending at long last <3 Just wanted to uncover as many secrets as I could before moving on...  Every time I thought I knew everything, I stumbled onto a brand new secret.  And it's been great fun :)

Wondering if I should get the itch.io version... or is it the same as Steam version?  The steam version has a level select debug menu when starting a new game.  Is that intended?

Anyway, really nice game.  It has a *lot* of secrets!  You are very thorough with the possibilities :D  ...so I'm sorry I waited so long to play, the game deserves more attention!

PS, I was saddened that there seemed to be less dialogue later in the game.  (First level of the game had so many optional lines with Amani. And lots of idling text... and I love the writing!  Was really hoping to chat more with her before the end... ;))

Sorry about that Lord Rutsah, *cracks the whip*  :X  Hopefully it helps though... 'cause comes another round D:<

I used the same system: red for major, yellow for caution, white for spelling, etc, and blue for a suggestion or uncertainty.  Even if you were to ignore the spelling items, there should be a handful of scripting stuff too.  Just browse through the txt file.  Oh, and if there's a certain way you'd like any possible future reports to be presented, and/or if you want me to ignore certain spellings; like noone or the 'es for plural;  I'll do that.

Anyway!  Back to the adventure.   Feels like it's been a long time since I enjoyed a good mature RPG.  Will be looking for it on Steam!

EDIT: #399 - Replayed this part and they displayed correctly this time after beating them...?  Weird.  Not sure why it displayed wrong last time.

Second time I've played and just want to say, love the creative writing and the open-ended gameplay...  Nothing quite like wandering into the mines randomly and leaving a hero!  Anyway, this time I started taking screenshots as I played through.  Highlighted these screenshot for possible issues, and numbered the screenshot for cross-referencing in notepad.  To avoid a giant post, I uploaded the txt and img host below.  Color coded the numbers in the upper left corner.  Red is pretty serious, yellow is a warning, white is suggested, and blue is just optional.  Text suggestions based mostly around US English.  If it helps, I'll post more as I can.

I thought I was stuck there too, you can escape if you try using the railing next to the arrow.  Point down.  The next scene has some problems btw.  One choice will loop back to the start, one choice keeps a character that probably should leave.

Oh, and last I checked you can walk through the wall on that map.  Also, one of the dead things has the wrong sprite on the next map.  (I should keep notes if I replay.)

(SPoilers ahead) (SPoilers ahead) (SPoilers ahead)

You've been warned.

Just happened upon this game and have gotten sucked into the writing!  Wow.  Great story!  Now, while I haven't taken the leap to the Patreon version just yet and check to see if it has changed... I have a little bug report/feature request! (Played v0.76d)

Back in Shiveworth, the big battle with the class 2(?) ...  A TOUGH battle... especially since I hadn't been preparing for it in my travels...  But. I actually WON after many close attempts.  DETERMINATION!  Sadly, I think you are not intended to win.  But, I love that you CAN if you are crazy enough.  (Had to really buff up with items, and pray not to be dizzied much.)  Unfortunately, this victory causes the cutscene to skip, or more exactly, Mercy suddenly falls down and it fades out, and you also get Orus in party for the next part where you aren't supposed to.

I hope you keep the battle intact for future versions, but offer a small changed cutscene as compensation for the determined Daughter.  Perhaps, show the soldiers move in when it seems like the Finder is losing to Mercy.   Maybe have them gasp?  And, "don't just stand there!"  Oh and I think there are two other instances of text that have to be adjusted also:  One in the Archbishop/General cutscene, where the General comments that she was easily taken down by the finder, and maybe another where Mercy comments she lost so easily to the finder.  (More like, she barely managed in peak condition, AND with Orus...)

Unless you truly want the player to lose no matter what and push a 9999 dmg attack,  to convince the player... (Don't even try or are you cheating?!)  ...But I was thrilled to survive.

That's all.  Keep up the great work!
